  1. What services do you offer?
    At Clements Design, I specialize in brand identity and print design. My services include logo creation, visual branding, business stationery, brochures, tabling banners, and other marketing materials to help your brand shine. To see a more complete list, visit my services page.
     

  2. Do you offer digital branding services?
    Yes, I offer digital branding services including social media graphics, digital advertisements, and other online marketing assets to keep your brand consistent across all platforms.
     

  3. Can you help me with printing as well?
    Absolutely! With my experience in print media, I work with both local and national print houses. I ensure that your designs are print-ready and work with printers to achieve the best quality possible.

 

Branding and Logo Design

  1. What is your branding design process like?
    I begin with a consultation to understand your business, goals, and audience. From there, I create a branding direction with sample imagery and curated colors to guide your brand's look and feel. Once approved, I develop logo concepts behind the scenes and schedule a presentation to unveil your new branding. We refine the elements together before delivering final files.
     

  2. What if I already have a logo but need a refresh?
    I can help refresh or modernize your existing logo to better fit your current brand direction while keeping the elements that are important to you. We'll discuss your goals and create an updated version that reflects your vision.
     

  3. What if I love my existing logo but my files are hard to work with or pixelate?
    One of my popular services is logo rebuilding. This service is perfect for clients who love their logo but hate their files. I recreate your logo to match the original as closely as possible, while providing a complete set of logo files that can be used in any application—including scaling up to the size of a Times Square billboard without any loss of quality.
     

  4. Can you rebuild a logo that I created using an AI logo generator?
    Unfortunately, I cannot rebuild logos created using AI generators due to potential copyright and ownership issues. AI-generated logos are not unique, and the designs produced by these tools cannot be copyrighted, meaning anyone else could use or replicate the same design for their business.

    Using a designer ensures your logo is custom-tailored to reflect your business's values, goals, and target audience. A professionally designed logo is original and legally yours, giving you a strong, recognizable brand foundation. If you're looking for a unique, personalized design, I’d be happy to help create a logo that’s truly yours!
     

  5. Why do I need a brand manual?
    This crucial document plays a role in protecting, elevating, and building a brand into the future. It ensures future users of the brand know the rules for applying the brand. Proper application of brand elements helps your business present a consistent image and deliver strong, accurate messaging to your ideal audience.
     

  6. What if I am more of a DIY business owner and just want a professional opinion? Some business owners are more hands-on and creative, and that's great! I offer branding consultation services for these clients. The basic package starts at $499 and includes the following:

    • Brand discovery: a deep dive form and 30-minute session to learn more about your business goals, target audience, and unique value propositions.​

    • Logo and visual identity audit: a review existing branding to assess strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement

    • Consultation report: a detailed summary of findings, recommendations, and actionable next steps for implementing your brand identity

    • Optional add on services:

      • Simple logo refinement: taking your existing logo and refining it to better serve your goals

      • Basic branded material templates: business cards, one page handouts, etc. to be used as plug and play templates

      • 4-hour design day service bock: a discounted 4-hour design day service block to implement recommendations

 

Working Together

  1. Do you work with businesses outside of Maple Valley, WA?
    Yes! I work with clients both locally and across the United States. We can collaborate effectively through email, phone calls, and virtual meetings.
     

  2. How do we get started?
    Just reach out via email or the contact form on my website, and we can schedule an initial consultation. During this meeting, we’ll discuss your needs, ideas, and how I can help bring your vision to life. You can also schedule a complimentary 15-minute discovery call here.
     

  3. Do you require a deposit to start a project?
    Yes, for projects $500 and under, I require 100% paid up front. For projects that are $501+, I require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due upon a disclosed date. This helps secure the time and resources needed to deliver the best results for you. Additional payment plan options may be available upon request. Any manufacturing costs associated with the project are required to submit payment up front.
     

  4. Do you have an example contract available?
    While I don't share my contract prior to meeting with a client, I do have a policy page on my website that outlines the major terms in the contract.

 

Timeline and Revisions

  1. How long does a typical project take?
    The timeline depends on the complexity of the project. Typically, brand identity projects take 4-8 weeks, while simpler tasks like business cards or promotional materials can be completed in 4-5 business days. I will provide an estimated timeline during our initial consultation. My current turn times are also listed in my email signature during communication.
     

  2. How many revisions do I get?
    My design packages typically include 3-4 drafts. This ensures we stay aligned with your vision while managing time efficiently. If more revisions are needed, I’m happy to provide them at an additional rate.

 

Pricing and Payments

  1. What is the cost of your services?
    Pricing varies based on the scope of each project. After discussing your needs, I will provide a custom quote. I believe in transparent pricing, and I work with clients to ensure the value of each project aligns with their goals. It is helpful to be provided an initial budget target during our discovery call and/or in your client intake form.
     

  2. What're your accepted payment methods?
    I currently accept paper check, ACH transfer, and all major credit cards. A 3.5% processing fee applies for all credit card payments.
